Animalia is divided into invertebrate and vertebrae.
Vertebrae are animals with a fixed backbone. Such animals are able to run smoothly and sometimes stand upright
Invertebrae are creatures that have no fixed backbone. Some examples are insects, which have exoskeletons. There are also jellyfish, which have bodies that are supported by water. Corals have no fixed backbone because they are all bone- both the coral and the vertebrae backbone are made out of calcium.
